What age is to early for diagnosis of BP I have been diagnosed with BP 7 years ago and have 3 children

I'm not sure, I have Bipolar 1 and my symptoms occurred in grade school and became increasingly more pronounced in my teen age years. I'm not not sure how young you have to be. I also have 3 grown children ( one with Autism). I had 2 other family members with this condition, so my guess is that if you have it yourself and are familiar with the symptoms, then an early diagnosis for children should be possible.
